We do have a strict dress code so we can provide our undivided attention to our dancers' success! However, childhood is a precious time and is to be preserved, cherished, and honored. Once monthly, we will incorporate "Creative Expression" week where dancers get to wear whatever they want to class!
The studio is a special place, for special people, and it requires a "special uniform".
We will encourage and promote the importance of creative individuality and the use of pure imagination! We want these dancers to have fun while also being trained efficiently so please name sure their fun attire is easy to dance in! In order to serve you and your dancer(s) properly, all items must be purchased from the links below (via our dance boutique).
No other brands or styles will be permitted.
*For questions on what to wear to class while waiting for our boutique attire to arrive can be found on our FAQ page (Dress Code & Hair Section)*

As our ballet instructor has advised, if you purchase this shoe, you will have to purchase the toe pads, sewing kit, elastic and ribbons separately. We will hold a class to show how to properly sew the shoes. We suggest you start ordering now if you are listed in the Pre-Pointe/Pointe I class because chances are you won’t be able to find the perfect size on your first try.
Unfortunately, we don’t have fitters for demi-pointe shoes in Minot (yet). We already have a couple of dancers traveling to Minneapolis and they plan to get sized and fitted there.
We also suggest buying multiple sizes and widths at a time if you can afford to because it can get frustrating trying one at a time and sending it back to wait for another one. Also, PLEASE read how the shoe is sized in comparison to a street shoe because ballet shoes aren’t true to street shoe sizes.
One final important note: If your child is given permission by the instructor to begin full pointe (not Demi-pointe), you are required to make an appointment at a dance supply store that has a certified pointe shoe fitter on staff. There is a zero tolerance policy with a “trial and error” approach with pointe shoes.
All items below are required (only 1 ribbon option is required and parents can choose which one they think their dancer would prefer).

We are still waiting on our Certificate of Occupancy at our new studio. It is so close though! #readyreadyready
