Our dance families are our top priority and due to that we must stick to what we are being paid to do when at the dance studio, teach!!!! Parents with day-to-day questions directly related to classes should reach out at our office number (listed above) or email their instructor at dancecoinstructors@gmail.com (please put class name an instructor name in the subject title). 


Yes! We have an office number and it is 423.358.2216! 

The office number is available to parents always for text and phone calls with an expected response time of 24-72 hours. 


Of course! We encourage friendly communication amongst our dance families! Only thing we ask is that all parents seek answers and information via our FAQs page (this page), our studio guidebook, and policy in the parent portal first and foremost. There have been a lot of changes in our studio recently, we would hate for anyone to get unintentionally mislead. If there is fragile information at risk of being shared with fellow dance parents that threatens the success of the studio, you must seek the studio manager or Director only via email.


Complaints should be sent to dcassistantdirector@gmail.com. Complaints be sent in any format other than email. If properly addressed, complaint will be responded to via email within twenty-four to seventy-two business hours.


We will be using our "Dcofminot" app, a fantastic app used for communicating and integrating online dance account information! All parents can download this app via the App Store or google play store! 


In the event of severe weather or unexpected events requiring closure, The Dance Co. does its best to keep families informed via this app. We kindly ask that you check in habitually throughout the day as class cancelations and updates are always possible! If a class is canceled for any reason including weather, we will schedule a make-up class within 30 days if possible.


Dance Co. staff is not permitted to give out dancer or instructor phone numbers and they are not to be contacted on their personal phones for any reason whatsoever. Along with this, our social media policy reminds dancers and parents of the importance of what our social media represents! Instructors are not permitted to speak to dance parents or dancers via direct messaging (DM) on social media platforms whatsoever. Dancers and parents are allowed to send friend requests to Dance Co. staff, it is at instructor discretion whether or not they will accept. Commenting and posts are permitted but social media policy in studio guidebook must be followed strictly.


Currently planned studio closures:

Recreational Classes Only: All weekly dates that Minot Public schools are closed, the studio will not host recreational P/NP classes. Recreational Technique classes will still be hosted.


All Dance Co. dancers: 

Teacher Training Days (February 9 & 10), Spring Break (March 6-10), Easter Break (April 6-10), Memorial Day Weekend (May 25-29)


No refunds will be given if a dancer withdraws from a class that is not canceled by The Dance Co. A teacher may cancel a class if only one dancer is present with no refunds or credits given to parent or dancer.
