As our ballet instructor has advised, if you purchase this shoe, you will have to purchase the toe pads, sewing kit, elastic and ribbons separately. We will hold a class to show how to properly sew the shoes. We suggest you start ordering now if you are listed in the Pre-Pointe/Pointe I class because chances are you won’t be able to find the perfect size on your first try.
Unfortunately, we don’t have fitters for demi-pointe shoes in Minot (yet). We already have a couple of dancers traveling to Minneapolis and they plan to get sized and fitted there.
We also suggest buying multiple sizes and widths at a time if you can afford to because it can get frustrating trying one at a time and sending it back to wait for another one. Also, PLEASE read how the shoe is sized in comparison to a street shoe because ballet shoes aren’t true to street shoe sizes.
One final important note: If your child is given permission by the instructor to begin full pointe (not Demi-pointe), you are required to make an appointment at a dance supply store that has a certified pointe shoe fitter on staff. There is a zero tolerance policy with a “trial and error” approach with pointe shoes.
All items below are required (only 1 ribbon option is required and parents can choose which one they think their dancer would prefer).

We are still waiting on our Certificate of Occupancy at our new studio. It is so close though! #readyreadyready
