Owner & Director
Haley is originally from Kentucky, but moved to Minot from Tennessee in 2012. She has been singing and performing since the age of 3 and has been dancing since she was 5 years old. She professionally headlined on stages in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. While performing in Tennessee, she also taught pre-ballet, tap and jazz classes, along with a modern clogging class at a local dance studio. She has numerous accomplishments in the competitive dance world and believes in promoting a healthy dance/life balance for children. “Enhancing tap and incorporating the intensive, percussive style of clogging became my passion, and taking over as owner as The Dance Company is a complete dream. “
Competition Coach & Director’s Assistant
Caitlyn started her dance career when she was 6 years old and she started dancing competitively in the 2nd grade. She was also on the Minot Magikix Middle School dance team in 7th and 8th grade. Caitlyn has placed in the overall high scores for her solos and duets regionally and nationally. This includes and is not limited to winning 1st place as well as receiving multiple scholarships at regional competitions. She has attended many dance intensives, and was a Dancer of the Year finalist for Celebration Talent Dance Competition.
In addition to her dance success she graduated high school with a 3.9 GPA. Currently, she is studying Accounting at Minot State University and works directly with Ms. Haley, assisting with the Competitive Program.
Julia started her dance career when she was 4 years old at Mann Dance Academy in Farmington, NM. In the 8th grade she moved to Minot where she started taking lessons at the Dance Company of Minot. In 8th grade she was on the Minot Magikixmiddle school dance team. She danced on the JV Minot Majettesdance team in 9th grade, and made the Varsity team for the rest of her high school career, where they have ranked in the State. She has placed in the overall high scores for her solos and duets regionally including 1st place, and has received multiple Outstanding Dancer Awards. She is attending Minot State University for Elementary Education.
Katie is currently a junior at Minot state university studying Communications. She has been dancing since the age of 4, and after taking a few years off, she is thrilled to not only be dancing again, but to be teaching as well!
